How to sell your books on Idlebook

1. Click "Attend Now!". Then click "Continue sign up with Facebook".

   

2. Click "Allow". We respect your privacy and will not share your information with anyone else. You can also remove Idlebook from your Facebook account at ANY TIME later.

   

3. Continue the sign up process. We require @uw.edu email to verify you are a UW student. Again, we'll never share your email information with anyone else. If you're invited by your friend, please enter your friend's name on the top box. After signing up, you will be redirected to your Idlebook profile.

   

4. Enter books you own on the box where says "Add book to your listings...". Choose the one that you own. If the book you own doesn't show up in the results, try entering it on the top search bar and hit "Search all:...". Then click "I own it."

   

5. Now you can set the price and condition of the book by clicking "Set price and condition". Set the "Rental Price" and "Sale Price" as you wish. Then add the condition of the book as well as the rental conditions (optional). Click "Save Book Info". The price shown next to your input box is the actual price for the buyer. It will be slightly higher in order to cover transaction fees.

   

6. Optionally, your can click the "Like" button on your profile to promote your books.

   

7. Then you are set! People who are interested in this book will find your copy on the book page. We'll notify you through email if other users express interests in buying or renting your book. You can also find books you want and request their owners!
